Throwback Thursday - Feb. 16th 2023 - Vintage Portfolio Artifacts
This one goes back to what would have probably been early 2001... Nebraska was adopting an Electronic Benefits Transfer card for what was the food stamp program (now known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP). I was a designer for the Department of Health & Human Services at the time.
Looking at the EBT webpage, it appears as if they are still using this design. I'm not sure if it has undergone any refinements over the years, but it looks like the original design has held up.
It is rare for a design to stick around for 22 years (and running). I am extremely proud to have been a part of this important state initiative that helps so many of our residents.
